Why do I need to have my water tested?

Testing your water is the only way to guarantee that it is suitable for all uses, including drinking, cooking, and bathing. It’s important to understand that even if your water looks and tastes normal, it may contain invisible contaminants that can impact your health and home or business.

What types of substances do you test for?

Our water testing services analyze the unique characteristics of your water, including its hardness, pH level, and the presence of contaminants like iron, chlorine, and other impurities. We can also provide more in-depth testing for harmful substances like lead or bacteria.

When should I schedule a water test?

We recommend scheduling a water test if you have just moved onto a property, completed plumbing work, or if you notice signs of a problem, such as a metallic taste, smell of rotting eggs or chlorine, or if your water appears cloudy or tinted.

What happens if you discover that my water is contaminated?

If our testing shows contamination, our team will walk you through what we find and how we recommend correcting the problem. We provide state-of-the-art water filtration and softening systems tailored to your water’s unique issues.

Why is “hard” water a problem?

Hard water, which contains high levels of dissolved minerals, can create mineral buildup in your pipes and appliances, resulting in spotty dishes, dry skin and hair, and reduced efficiency and lifespan of water-using appliances.

How does a water softener work?

Water softeners use a process called ion exchange, which removes the excess minerals from the water. This results in “soft” water that is better for your appliances, plumbing, skin, and hair.

Do you offer reverse osmosis systems?

Yes, we offer reverse osmosis water systems that deliver a higher level of water purification, making your drinking water exceptionally clean, safe, and crisp-tasting by removing a broad range of contaminants.

Do you offer well water filtration systems?

Yes, we understand the unique challenges of well water and design systems to meet their specific needs.

Why is well water testing so important?

Unlike city water, which is continually tested and monitored as it passes through the municipal water system, well water comes from water reserves deep underground. Regular well water testing checks for invisible contaminants and ensures your filtration system is correctly configured to keep your water safe and clean.
