What brand of system do you install?
We build all of our softening systems for quality and control. The valve is the most important piece of the system, so we use a Clack ws1 valve that commonly lasts 15–20 years. We also use an upgraded resin for longevity against the chloramines in your water and a high-quality activated carbon to remove chloramines.
What is a reverse osmosis system?
Reverse osmosis systems remove total dissolved solids by forcing water through a semipermeable membrane. It’s one of the best water purification methods out there, and alkaline RO water treatment systems even increase the pH and add beneficial minerals back into the water.
Why are salt-based systems superior to salt-free systems?
Salt-based systems are more effective than salt-free systems because they actually remove the hard minerals. Salt-free systems change the structure of the minerals to keep them from sticking, but they still let the hard water through, whereas salt-based systems discharge the hard water minerals during the self-cleaning process.
